On August 23, 2006, the Minneapolis Public Library Board of Trustees formed a Library Advisory Committee to assess available and new opportunities to help rebuild a robust library system. The first meeting was held on October 17.

Committee on the Future of Libraries in Hennepin County

The Minneapolis Public Library Board of Trustees, Minneapolis City Council and Hennepin County Board of Commissioners have agreed to convene a Committee on the Future of Libraries in Hennepin County. You can find more information about this committee on the Hennepin County Library website.
